Pennant Goes Green

Pennant Moldings Partners with Clinton County Solid Waste Management District to Acquire Grant for Recycling Initiative.

SABINA, OH - Pennant Moldings recently announced an initiative in partnership with Clinton County Solid Waste Management District to increase recycling efforts at their Sabina, Ohio plant. The initiative is made possible in part by a Go-Green Grant allowing CCSWMD to cover half of the program's cost. Containers have been placed in the company's break room and as desk-side receptacles. The company also utilizes a large dumpster for weekly removal. The new program will cover a wide variety of paper, plastic, glass, and metal material.

Pennant's Mike Gaby and Mark Thomas along with CCSWMD's Jeff Walls and Mark Michael coordinated to establish the new partnership. After calculating total costs, Pennant and CCSWMD submitted a grant request for nearly $500, half the program's cost. With the grant secured, Pennant and Clinton County are proud to take another step forward in the responsible disposal of recyclable material.
